Sex is one of the most human things there is — and one of the hardest to talk about. It carries so much: history, shame, expectation, longing, grief. For many women and relationships, it’s where disconnection shows up first, and where it cuts deepest.

Desire is not a luxury. It’s not selfish, frivolous, or something to earn. It’s part of being fully alive in your body and you are allowed to want it back.

You don’t have to figure this out alone.

What is Sex Therapy?

Sex therapy is talk-based, we don’t do anything physical in session. What we do is create a space where nothing is off limits to discuss. We explore what’s happening, where it comes from, and what you want, without judgment, without shame, and without anyone telling you what you should feel.

We also work with the body’s role in all of it. Desire, pleasure, and intimacy aren’t only in the mind. They live in the nervous system, in the tissues, in the stories the body has learned to tell about safety. If your body has learned to brace, to go numb, or to disappear, we work with that directly. Gently and slowly, at your pace.

This Might Be For You If

  • You’ve lost touch with desire and aren’t sure how to find your way back

  • Sex feels like an obligation, a source of anxiety, or something that happens to you rather than with you

  • Shame or past experiences have made it hard to feel safe or present in intimacy

  • You and your partner have grown disconnected, in and out of the bedroom

  • Communication around sex has broken down, or never quite worked

  • You want to come home to your body and rediscover what feels good

I work with individuals and with partners together. You get to decide what feels right.

What Sessions Are Like

Sessions are conversational, confidential, and judgment free. We go slowly. There’s no agenda you have to meet and no version of your sexuality you have to perform or justify.

Many people describe sex therapy as the first place they’ve ever spoken honestly about this part of themselves. That honesty, and the safety that makes it possible, is where the energy starts to move again.
