You don’t have to have it figured out before you walk in. You don’t need to arrive with the right words, a clear story, or a tidy understanding of what’s off. You just have to show up, and we’ll find our way from there.

What is Psychotherapy?

This is a space to talk. Really talk. And to be heard in a way that might feel unfamiliar at first, because it doesn’t come with judgment, advice, or the quiet pressure to be okay.

How We Work Together

Psychotherapy is traditional talk therapy, but with a relational, body-based twist. We talk through what’s happening, make sense of patterns, and explore what’s underneath them. And we pay attention to what your body is doing while we do it, because the body is always part of the story.

Conversation and body awareness, woven together. It’s insight meeting sensation — and that combination tends to reach places that words alone don’t.

This Might Be For You If

Women come to psychotherapy for all kinds of reasons. Some of the most common:

  • You’re carrying something you haven’t been able to say out loud yet

  • Anxiety or depression has made it hard to feel like yourself

  • Something in you is depleted in a way that sleep and weekends haven't fixed

  • You’re in the middle of a life transition and aren’t sure who you are on the other side

  • Your relationships feel stuck in patterns you can’t seem to change

  • You’ve lost touch with what you want, what you feel, or what makes you feel alive

  • You just know something needs to shift, even if you can’t name it yet

You don’t need a crisis or a diagnosis. Wanting more from your life is enough of a reason to begin.

What Sessions Are Like

Sessions are 50 minutes, available in person in Fort Worth or online. We go at your pace. There’s no agenda you have to meet, no version of yourself you have to perform.

Many women notice things beginning to shift in ways they didn’t expect — more clarity, more ease in their body, a growing sense of who they are and what they need. The thread back to yourself is already there. We just follow it together.

About Joann

I’m Joann Chevaillier, and I came to this work through my own healing — which means I know from the inside what it takes to sit across from someone and tell the truth about your life.

I bring warmth, steadiness, and genuine curiosity to every session. I’m not here to fix you or hand you a roadmap. I’m here to be a steady presence while you find your own way back to yourself.

If this sounds like what you’ve been needing, I’d love to talk.
